To protect the ecological values and accommodate increased usage from the "museum district" program and park renovation, our concept divides the new spatial structure of the park into two main parts:

City Park Promenade: The Liget körsétány and its internal "core area" provide a space for passive recreation, prioritizing ecosystem services and preserving the park's natural experience. Noisy recreational functions, such as sports fields and playgrounds, are excluded from this area.

Liget körsétány: This main route facilitates easy exploration of the park, connecting all functions in a transparent and accessible manner. Beneath the circular walkway, essential public utilities' backbone lines can be integrated, ensuring connectivity throughout the park. If feasible, a utility tunnel is recommended for added convenience.

To maintain the park's ecological balance and soft beauty lines characteristic of historical gardens, we opt for a mature landscape garden's logical and aesthetic ground plan. Existing valuable wood is carefully considered, allowing for dynamic arches and gentle "rolling" lines to coexist harmoniously.

Intersection conflicts between route guidance and trees are addressed through common practice solutions, ensuring a logical and consistent image. To adhere to our ecological approach, the park regeneration will adopt materials and practices aligned with a BREEAM approach, preserving the park's environment.

Our concept strives to uphold the park's natural essence while catering to modern needs, providing a harmonious and eco-conscious space for all visitors to enjoy.
