The installation represents a thoughtful use of space, where the concept of planting goes beyond mere design and becomes a purposeful arrangement of both built and natural elements within the area. The essence of Derecskei Orchard can be summarized as an organic, natural harmony between fruit and trees, meticulously planned with rows, order, nets, and irrigation system. This meticulous planning achieves a balance between nature-like and careful design.
In the development of the new buildings, the goal was to seamlessly integrate them into the orchard garden, preserving the essence of an agricultural or estate centre while infusing it with innovation and high quality. The resulting character, known as Derecskei Orchard, serves as an identifiable representation of the underlying concept and business performance, while maintaining an amiable charm.
The comfort and ease of visitors navigating the area are paramount, ensuring their novel experience is enjoyable. Rational exploration and service of the estate centre guide the definition of built volume, while also emphasizing economic and sustainable considerations in the design process. The ultimate aim is to create a harmonious space where nature and architecture converge, providing visitors with a delightful and memorable experience in Derecskei Orchard.
