Due to the research and development activities of the Lépték-Terv, Viaplant was established which produces plant-based, creative composites for the architecture and design industry.
The Viaplant brand is fundamentally defined by its philosophy, the so-called story concept. Our goal is to bring the beauty and diversity of nature closer and to create unique values in living spaces with stories related to plants.
Viaplant panels are unique due to the distinctiveness of the natural source materials and hand crafted processing and thanks to the special production technique the plants keep their natural colors and unique characteristics.
In addition to the composite technology using resin – in response to global sustainability issues – we produce plant starch based PLA Viaplant, and we also pair the plants with glass.
We only use plant parts, leaves and flowers that have a renewal time of one year or less. Without exception, all natural materials of Viaplant come from a local source, and we prioritize keeping the whole of the production within Hungary.
The Green Guide was established to gather and display the scenery of community life, the present, past and future story of public places and parks country-wide, the hidden values, the “secret” nice places and their significance in the history of civilization. The website is intended to be an editable virtual community space for everyone. We hope, it will become an expanding archive representing the history of each space. Besides it will be a useful data-base for different design projects and research.
The TÁJÉK group was founded in 2003 with the aim of spreading landscape and environmental protecting ideas by the tools of art. We aim to reinterpret the landscape as an artistic environment and try to bridge the gap between ecological thinking and consumer society. In three words: we are idealists. Driven by our artistic ambition, we love to wander in the fields of landscape architecture and, we agree with Van Gogh: "If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint’, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced."
